Textile Figure Forum UK

Promoting the Art/Craft of UK Textile Figure, Cloth and Rag Doll Making

Welcome to Textile Figure Forum UK
which aims to cater for everyone interested in the art/ craft of Textile Figure Making, cloth & rag dolls,

There is an opportunity to join groups within this forum which specifically cater for your type of cloth doll; to join in all the group discussions and to showcase your own creations for other members to view and feedback with comments and questions.

There are tutorial pdf files peppered around the group and forum sections to help Beginners and anyone who wants more help on a particular technique or aspect of the hobby.

This group has been started with the aim of providing friendly support and to share inspirational sources and useful techniques with anyone who enjoys creating any type of cloth figures at whatever level from beginners to advanced.
Friendly and active participation & sharing is welcomed, since for a group to work it needs regular input from its members.
We do appreciate, however, that not everyone can be glued to the computer all the time.

Do feel free to start and join in topics for discussion under groups and forums.
Whilst swaps and challenges will be organised on a regular basis.participating in every challenge is not compulsory, although you will be expected to vote for those who took the trouble to enter their cloth doll for the challenge.

I welcome suggestions for projects/tutorials on which we can work together. It is your group so your input and suggstions will help to make it work well ands be a satisfying expereince for all. If you have any queries or suggestions then please email Madeleine Sara Judith & Shashi
ENJOY!

Oh dear. I often feel like these two slappers. This one has my tummy and I've always got at least one pair of red shoes (something I 'got' from my Gran!). Oh well, at least I don't smoke!
